Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring and reporting of project activities. He or she will work closely with the CDO and the Project Leader and act as a bridge between upper management/the Project Leader and the people who are actually responsible for the execution of the project. The Project Manager needs to make sure that the project runs smoothly and stays on schedule and to update the progress of the project regularly to the upper management and the Project Leader. A key part of a project manager's role is to identify and mitigate risks of project activities.
The Project Manager is part of the R&D team within BioLineRx.

Responsibilities

  • Work with all Functions to establish an overall Project Plan (for all projects)
  • Develop a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities with the various Functions.
  • Present the project plan to upper management and the Project Leader
  • Establish a deadline and monitor the progress of the project activities.
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve issues that arise.
  • Track project activities and providing regular status reports to CDO, Project Leader, project team and key stakeholders.
  • Manage/flag and adjust changes in project activities related to schedule and/or budget.
  • Work with the Project Leader and coordinate cross-functional discussions to maintain optimal development plan (participates in team/sub-team discussions, critical path analysis and scenario acceleration plans)
  • For projects that don’t have a PL assigned:
    • Work closely with CDO
    • Coordinate activities cross functionally and monitor their execution.
    • Assume responsibility for project timelines and budget.
    • Develop presentations, analyses and recommendations.
    • Lead regular meetings with project teams and effectively communicate relevant project status, key issues, and potential problems to all stakeholders.

Required skills, experience, and education

  • Education: Industrial engineering
  • 3 years of project management and related experience in the industry (Biotech or pharmaceutical)
  • Ability to work independently and take accountability for ensuring delivery.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Budget management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Experience in drug development principles (preclinical development, CMC, regulatory affairs, clinical development etc) and processes. - big advantage
  • Solution-oriented thinking with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (both in Hebrew and English)
  • Experience in preparing presentations.
  • Flexible, structured and goal-oriented team player
