BioLineRx's Early Development Program (EDP) is a first of its kind program initiated to identify and advance early stage innovative therapeutic projects. Promising projects will be selected and benefit from funding, guidance and experimentation led by BioLineRx's professional drug development staff. EDP projects will receive 1-2 years of significant funding for research and development to be performed in the inventing scientist's laboratory together with our drug development experts in BioLineRx's laboratories, as well as our global network of CROs.

BioLineRx's EDP looks to combine cutting-edge research with our proven expertise in the accelerated advancement of drugs into the clinic and beyond, and provides a unique opportunity for researchers and scientists to see their inventions advance rapidly through the professional drug development process.

The goal of a project under the EDP is to accumulate sufficient in vivo data so as to facilitate entry into the BioLineRx pipeline. Projects that enter BioLineRx's innovative therapeutic pipeline receive full funding and accelerated preclinical and clinical development.

EDP candidates must be patentable, novel therapeutics, addressing a large unmet medical need. The therapeutic should have a well thought-out mechanism of action, backed by high quality research and scientific rigor.
